Thousands of personalized automated texts and emails, citing detailed client data, resulted in a record sales month.
A Saskatchewan-based automotive dealership, Auto Clearing, approached us with a customer database of over 10,000 past customers, seeking opportunities to leverage their existing data for new sales opportunities. This database included past purchase data, service records, and notes from their CRM. We collaborated with them to develop a bespoke, low-cost SMS and email marketing tool that integrated their unique customer data to send personalized messages authored by their existing sales professionals.
This solution was engineered to be CASL-compliant, easy to pivot and easy to scale up or down as the need arises, all from the ground up.
Outcome
By utilizing existing finance rates, terms, and estimated trade-in values, we were able to send highly personalized communications that addressed recipients' key questions. These emails achieved a 300% higher open rate compared to their existing CRM email solution, and text messages resulted in an average inquiry rate of 10%. Within three months of implementing this SMS and email tool, the dealership broke its February sales record. They are now exploring further automation opportunities to support various use cases for new sales leads.
