Automating Recruitment Processes
Overview
An international trucking company, Q-Line Trucking, found themselves continually plagued with driver shortages. They approached us seeking assistance with their recruiting efforts.
After running recruiting campaigns on social media for six months, we were able to optimize campaign performance, achieving an average cost per applicant of $6/CAD across North America. We then focused on establishing the average number of applicants required to make a successful hire. Subsequently, we collaborated closely with the company to thoroughly understand their application processing workflow. This understanding was instrumental in engineering a workflow that included automations, eliminated scheduling constraints, and implemented application reminders and automated instructions to ensure applicants progressed smoothly through the process.
Today, Q-Line can successfully forecast the time required to adequately staff up for upcoming projects or regional expansions.
Outcome
Automated repetitive tasks and created passive reporting that resulted in 4X higher applicant processing.
Using the processes and reporting tools we have built, Q-line now has predictive analytics that make forecasting driver acquisition possible. This allows them to source better drivers in a predictable fashion.
